Janakpur Royals fall short to Kathmandu Knights

Janakpur Royals lost to Kathmandu Knights by 54 runs in the ongoing 2022 Nepal T20. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, the Knights posted a mammoth 208/6 in 20 overs. Alex Blake top scored with 83 runs and was well aided by Virandeep Singh (49 from 34 balls) and Azmatullah Omarzai (43* from 15 balls). Pawan Sarraf picked 2/18 for the Royals.

In reply, the Royals were bowled out for 155 in 20 overs. Samiullah Shinwari (29 from 27 balls), Sundeep Jora (26 from 12 balls) and Pawan Sarraf (24 from 18 balls) got starts but were unable to push on. Azmatullah Omarzai picked 3/28 for the Knights. 

The Royals are placed 3rd in the tables with 4 points and a Net Run Rate of -0.557.
