Janakpur Royals bounce back with a comprehensive win over Far West United

Janakpur Royals returned to winning ways by defeating Far West United by 82 runs in the ongoing 2022/23 Nepal T20. Chasing a target of 162, Far West United were bowled out for 79 in 15.1 overs. Hashmatullah Shahidi top scored with 32. Samiullah Shinwari 3/16, Pawan Sarraf 2/15, and Sompal Kami 2/18 shared the spoils for the Royals.

Earlier, Janakpur Royals posted 161/7 in 20 overs, courtesy of Sundeep Jora’s 55 from 32. Jora, who was adjudged the Player of the Match hit 5 sixes in his brutal attack. Prakash Jaisi picked 3/25 for Far West. 

The Royals are placed 2nd in the tables with 8 points and a Net Run Rate of +0.163.
